Tonight the Atlanta Hawks travels to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks. The Hawks are atop of the Eastern conference with a six game lead but have lost three of their last four, meanwhile the Bucks are one of the most surprising teams this year; they already have more than double the amount of wins they had last year for the whole season!
For the Hawks I have decided to go for fried chicken wings with Belgium waffles after Gladys Knight Fried Chicken & Waffles, one of (if not the) most popular restaurant in Atlanta. My friend and I once tried to go but the line was around the block!! I chose to make three wings/waffles as the Hawks and Bucks are two of the top three teams with regards to 3-point field goal percentage.
The Bratwurst sausage, although German, is extremely popular throughout Wisconsin. They even hold an annual ‘Brat Fest’!! I served my brat with some slightly picked red cabbage, smoky BBQ sauce in a hot dog roll with a touch of mustard; it went down a treat!!
I’ll post the recipes in the near future. But who do you think wins; Atlanta’s Chicken & Waffles or the Bucks Brat? Let me know in the comments section below, or let me know what you think via Facebook and Twitter.
